Underworld Cafe

Rough Concept
You play as an unnamed Underworld denizen, recently deceased and yet to be judged. Things are always moving in the Land of the Dead, but this means that it's all hands on deck, all the time.

These are the complaints your psychopomp shares as he leads another bunch of passengers up onto his ferry. "What I wouldn't give," he says, "for a little rest stop to put my feet up. Just for a second, yanno?"

As it happens, you are unable to pay the toll to cross. However, you are willing and able to work for it. This is your pitch to the Ferryman; lucky for you, he seems willing to play along.

This is just a rough idea of the player character. As mentioned in my blog, I want to explore 2d options, but I don't have much by way of making 2d digital art, so I'm currently deciding on what I want to do art-wise!
